Rishi

I am Rishi Varman, a year 3 student from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, majoring in Communications and New Media at the National University of Singapore. Apart from school, I have founded a multimedia production banner cum design solutions start-up called Shuffle Studios - focused on generating real results on projects of every scale with our combined creative and technical expertise, we consistently deliver high quality media content with the right balance of depth and style. I have had the privilege of working with notable clients such as Western Union Global, and Hi-5 International on a multitude of projects ranging from digital media content creation, corporate video production and design projects.

My latest project that is currently underway is an international feature film that I wrote, produced and directed, based in Singapore. It is a Tamil Language Film, and featuring crew and cast from countries such as London, India, Malaysia and India. The film was done with a budget of just under S$80,000 and the shoot was completed with extreme planning and efficiency in a time frame of 30 days with a 15 men crew and 6 men cast. The movie is slated for a theatrical release early 2021 across Singapore, Malaysia and India alongside digital streaming platforms.
