My first drama on Vasantham was Guru Paarvai. Following the audition, I was put through an acting workshop to bring myself up to speed on the expectations and requirements of an actor. My previous experience in the independent work with my media production start-up and having directed and written plays for my alma-mater Raffles Institution’s “Sangamam” show helped me to ease my process into the industry as a new comer. Following the successful stint in Guru Paarvai, I went on to playing an important role in the successful long form drama “Kin” on Channel 5. Since then, I have been featured in 8 dramas on Mediacorp. In the independent front, my latest project is an international feature film titled “Vidai” that is currently pending release and a five part web-series also pending release. My education in new media alongside electives in theatre studies in the National University of Singapore has also prepared myself theoretically for this industry.
